LyX ⇒ LyX margins

Hi all,

I´m currently writing my doctoral thesis with LyX. It serves me well, giving me a very elegant document, easy to read and all.

But what I want now is to leave more space for my images, more specifically I would like to reduce the left margins for my figure-floats. In that way my images can take up almost the whole width of the page, while LyX/LaTeX applies its typography restricts the text, excluding more of the margins, allowing for easy reading of the text.

Is that possible to do??
