The most efficient way to use Jabref?

Post by Sam »

Dear users of latex/Jabref,

what is The most efficient way to use Jabref?

I have a huge number of references to include in my thesis!

do I input them in jabref manually? :(

is there a better quick and efficient way?

thanks so much

S.

Well,
somehow you have to put references in a file in BibTeX format.
What I do is to use Jabref facilities to download them for you. Then I use Google Scholar having enabled the option "show BibTeX" and cut and paste the citation in the bib file.
The best way is to build bibliography one by one, checking references and adding missing data so not to have to return again to it.

Hope it helps.
Ciao!
