Putting a graphics in rectoverso style

Post by shadoweye »

This a continuation for my following thread here. Considering my first question has been answered, I thought it would be more suitable to discuss my second question here. So here it is:
Sometimes when typesetting I encounter a case where I should put an illustration (i.e. PNG image) inside a novel rectoverso (a single picture takes two pages next to each other, so if the book is opened flat you'll see the whole image).

Can LaTeX handle this (with some additional package maybe)? If so, which package should I use and could you please provide me with some code examples?
For additional information I'm using pdflatex (from MikTeX 2.8) as processing tool.

Thanks for the answer and sorry for making another thread. .

The dpfloat package is your friend.
