Adobe Reader 10 and viewing error
I'm using Windows 7 (32 bit), TexnicCenter 1.0 stable RC1 and MiKTeX 2.9.
NEW: TikZ book now 40% off at Amazon.com for a short time.
And: Currently, Packt sells ebooks for $4.99 each if you buy 5 of their over 1000 ebooks. If you choose only a single one, $9.99. How about combining 3 LaTeX books with Python, gnuplot, mathplotlib, Matlab, ChatGPT or other AI books? Epub and PDF. Bundle (3 books, add more for higher discount): https://packt.link/MDH5p

Re: Adobe Reader 10 and viewing error
Changing "View project's output" and "Forward Search" to "Command line argument" with the command: %bm.pdf works.
(And don't forget to change the path of executable to the new AcroRd32.exe)
Re: Adobe Reader 10 and viewing error
Although, Acroread starts, it does not open the file directly, but I have to select it manually from the recent list

If that solves the problem, you can mark the topic. Otherwise please tell us what is missing.Neverwinterx wrote:build - define output profiles - latex => pdf - viewer

Does anyone know what changed in version X of the acrobate reader?
Why did the DDE commands stoped working?

As the poster above says, this is a workaround. An explanation, or even better a solution, for why the DDE commands aren't working would be better. You should get off your high horse by the way.localghost wrote:If that solves the problem, you can mark the topic.
