Problem with setspace package

Post by LyX User »

Hi all.

I installed a fresh copy of LyX 1.6.7 on my computer and the installation was successful. However, when I now try to create documents with 1.5 line spacing, I get an error message saying that the file "setspace.sty" cannot be found. I found a copy of the file on the Internet but I am unsure as to where to save it in my MikTex directory. I have not come across this problem before when I had to reinstall LyX so any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks.

Recommended reading 2024:

LaTeXguide.org • LaTeX-Cookbook.net • TikZ.org

NEW: TikZ book now 40% off at Amazon.com for a short time.

And: Currently, Packt sells ebooks for $4.99 each if you buy 5 of their over 1000 ebooks. If you choose only a single one, $9.99. How about combining 3 LaTeX books with Python, gnuplot, mathplotlib, Matlab, ChatGPT or other AI books? Epub and PDF. Bundle (3 books, add more for higher discount): https://packt.link/MDH5p

Problem with setspace package

Post by localghost »

The setspace package is part of MiKTeX thus can comfortably be installed with its package manager (MPM). The MPM can be found in the »Start« menu.
