LaTeX Equation Editor

Post by lima »

Hello!

Does anyone uses this program? http://latexeqedit.sourceforge.net/

I have MiKTeX installed already and I've pointed the program to the files that it requires. However, whenever I type in the equation I desire, I get this error:

dvipng.exe: GUI framework cannot be initialized.
Dvipng threw an error

Any ideas to solve this?

I'm currently using MiKTeX 2.9.

Thanks! :)

Works for me ... did you set the paths to the exe-files correctly?

In my system it's

C:\Program Files (x86)\MiKTeX 2.9\miktex\bin\texify.exe

and

C:\Program Files (x86)\MiKTeX 2.9\miktex\bin\dvipng.exe

But it's only a preview tool.

Re-installed MiKTeX in a different directory, and it worked.
Thanks anyways. :)
