Downgrade package

How can i downgrade a package?

If you have the old package, could you not just put it inside the appropriate folder within your "tex" folder in the system files?

That's an obvious suggestion, but unfortunately I don't have the package. Do you know where i can find it?

It is package ifxetex.

The preferable way would be to send a note to the package maintainer, ask for advice and wait patiently for a new version. This way he gets a chance for fixing that issue and perhaps he can also offer a workaround for the meantime.

Thanx localGhost, I'll do that.

Now does anybody know if it is possible to downgrade a package in miktex?
