Hi!
Do you have any experience of converting documents (eg. from Word) into LaTeX? Today I've discovered and used rtf2latex2e. Everything looks good except diacritical signs. This application lost all of them. I'm from Poland and maybe you know there are a lot of diacritical signs in polish.
I suppose you have the same problem with your languages. Have you any idea how to resolve it?
I need to publish a book and I started to check prices of commercial software in my desperation.

LaTeX and diacritical signs.
Some time ago I successfully managed to convert a simple document using OpenOffice.org (OOo) with the Writer2LaTeX extension. But in my language (German) we only have four critical characters so this might not be an appropriate criterion. I suggest to test it. However, the converted document will need some post-processing.
