General ⇒ [glossaries] How to include acronym in the glossaries

In my thesis I have defined an list of acronyms and a glossaries page. I have an entry that has to be included in the list of acronyms and in the glossaries. Is this possible and if so: how can i achieve this?

Please provide some useful information [1]. As always, a minimal example is essential for receiving specific help. Otherwise I'm pessimistic that we will get closer to a solution.
