Referencing issue with the star

Post by sanne »

Hi!

Due to the APA style (I so wished I was talking about Aang's flying bison) I have to cite each new reference with all authors (except those with over six authors) and only then use et al. in the following citations.
Normally that should work with \citep*{xyz} but it doesn't. It does all the other modifications but it sticks to the et al. without showing it as an error or a warning, when using the star. This star appears to be totally ignored. Hence, I was wondering, if anybody might have a clue how to solve that.

Thank you!
Sanne

Referencing issue with the star

Doesn't apacite do that by default when using the "plain" \cite command?
