Can someone help?

I need to do a poster in class and I wanted to know if I can use colour for some titles on a particular page.

Please help if you can.

Of course you can. Look at, e.g., the xcolor package. If you want more specific advice, we'll need to know what document class and basic settings you're using for your poster, or, better, see an actual minimal (but compiliable) sample document.

beamerposter is a nice document class for colorful posters.
