Post by sgp »

hi all,

is there a way to create you own style of headings for chapters, like custom font size and font type and some vector image.

thanks in advance,

custom heading for chapters

Yes, there is. You could use the titlesec package and its command \titleformat and \titlespacing. The documentation provides some examples.

Here's a fancy example: Chapter headings with TikZ.

Further the fncychap package offers some predefined styles.
