I use Lyx 1.4.3-5. What is the function of the captioned?
Second, I use Lyx both under Windows (Miktex 2.4) and Linux on two computers. Under Windows, the pdf(output) can refreash without closing it first, after compiling with Lyx. But under Linux, I have to close the pdf first before compling; otherwise, the pdf doesn't change.
Any ideas for these? Thanks.

On OS X I also have to close the opened .pdf first to be able to click on refresh in LyX 1.5.4. Seems to be a bug but I did not bother about it yet. I simply close the file and click on the pdfLaTeX-button again.
