Tables Effecting Citations

Hi :) I'm a newbie in LaTex... just started using today. Have to say that its Grreat! :D
I am using an existing template created by someone else...
Basically, referencing style is Author and date (Harvard).
All was going well until I decided to add a table.
Before adding the table, any references with more than 2-authors will be cited as
(for e.g. John et al. (2003) or (John et al., 2003))
But after I added the table (which in it has citations also)...
suddenly the "et. al..." only appears for references with more than 5-authors.
So, papers with 5 or less will display all of the authors :(

Just wondering if anyone has ever faced this problem before? Any advice would be much appreciated. Thanks! :)

SOME THINGS I HAVE TRIED:

1. If I take the table code out... everything is ok. Only happens when I have the table...

2. I've tried taking the citations out of the table... and after recompiling... everything's ok! :)

So, there's something not right with having the citations in the table... I think... can anyone give any tips? Thanks in advance :D

Hi,

your problem seems odd (at least to me). Please post a minimal working example allowing us to reproduce the undesired behaviour.
