Hi, I had a .tex file that I made a few months ago that compiled just fine using TeXnicCenter and I was able to convert it without any problems to a .pdf file. I just tried to compile the same exact file now a few months later and its giving me a strange error message. I'm using TeXnicCenter version 1 Beta 6.31 and Adobe Reader 7.1.0. When I click the "Build and View Current File" button when Output Profile is set to "Latex=>PDF" I get the following. First Adobe Reader opens up and then gives me the error message "There was an error opening this document. The file is damaged and could not be repaired.". Then when I click ok and close Adobe I see that TeXnicCenter gave me the error message "[DocOpen("%bm.pdf")][DocOpen("%bm.pdf")] Cannot execute the command."
I've since been reading through the threads to find a solution and one suggestion I found was to add [DocOpen("%bm.pdf")] in front of all three spots in Define Output Profile-Viewer. I tried that and it still doesn't work though. Instead TeXnicCenter just gives the following error message "[DocOpen("%bm.pdf")][DocOpen("%bm.pdf")][DocOpen("%bm.pdf")] Cannot execute the command." Now with three [DocOpen("%bm.pdf")] instead of two.
Does anybody know how to solve this problem? The strange thing about it is that it was working just fine a month ago but now it doesn't. Also many other .tex files that I have compile and can be converted just fine, but for some reason the one I want to convert now to a .pdf can't. Any help would be appreciated.

Hi chhe,
welcome to the board!
Besides that error message - was no pdf created?
Perhaps post the .log file here as attachment.

Re: New Problem with Latex-->PDF
There are errors in your document. Of course no pdf would be created and the Adobe reader cannot open anything.
Read the log file, look for the word "Error" and fix the errors.
For instance pdfLaTeX doesn't support postscript, but pdf graphics, so use another output profile (LaTeX => DVI => PS => PDF) or convert the graphics to pdf first.
