Regarding sorting of citations in the lyx
I am newbie and have decided to write my master thesis in LyX. Because i am still new to LyX I have decided to use the classicThesis template provided from Andrew Meide, which many of you probably know...
So regarding my problem...
I have written some text [text1] and cited a reference [reference1] and so on.... so I get the following structure
[Text1] [Reference1] [Text 2] [Reference2]
I then decide to write some more text between [Text1] and [Text2] and I also want to add a new reference like so....
[Text1] [Reference1] [Text(x)] [Reference(x)] [Text 2] [Reference2]
When I then compile the document the sorting in my bibliography will be...
Reference1
Reference2
Reference(x)
Because it sorts my citations chronological in the sequence I add them to my thesis.
In stead I would like the following, where LyX sorts my citations in my bibliography in the order they appear in the text and changes the citation number accordingly....
Reference1
Reference(x)
Reference2
In summation: I would like the citations to be sorted in the sequence they appear in the document and not in the chronological sequence they get added to my thesis.
Is this possible at all??
