Bibtex referencing server

Post by wcmatthysen »

Hi there,

I am looking for a way to upload references to a central Bibtex referencing server (almost like Basilic or BibDb), but with the ability to directly link to this server for all my references (the reference list at our company is very dynamic in nature). Thus, I don't want to manually export references (via a webpage) from this server and link to the bibtex file every time the references change. I am looking for a solution where I; in some way; link to this central server and I automatically get the most up to date bibtex database for referencing during document compilation.

Are there perhaps a bibtex style file and a software package that I can install to get this functionality?

Any help will be much appreciated.

Bibtex referencing server

Looks like I've found what I'm looking for. The software package is named refbase and provides a centralized web-based solution for all our bibliography information. It also provides a script (and binary for windows) that I can use (based on the citations in my document) to synchronize my .bib file with the latest entries from the server. The link that explains this is: http://www.refbase.net/index.php/BibTeX ... ntegration.

This is the closest that I got based on what I required. I don't know if there are any other software packages that provide similar functionality?
