General ⇒ Placing an imported graph next to a Tex created table

I am trying to place a table I've created using Tex next to (to the right of) an imported .wmf file on the same page. Please help, I'm very new to Tex and computers in general, please explain as if to a child.

I would try the \subfloat command, from the subfig package -- something like:

\begin{figure}[!h]
\mbox{}\hfill\subfloat{\includegraphics{myfigure.wmf}}\hfill\subfloat{mytable}\hfill\mbox{}
\end{figure}

(check the documentation of the package, there are several parameters to use).
