LyX ⇒ tikZ headers

I have been trying to get these page headers going in Lyx.

I can get it to work, but after I save the lyx file and re-open it, if I then display a pdf it does not show the header at all. It appears just to leave it out. If I then delete all the text and start again, it works again. I have had a two identical lyx files, one saved and reopened, the other not closed and then copied the view source information and they were both identical. But they shoe different outputs.

Any clues where I should look next

You could have posted your question alternatively as comment to that blog.

Perhaps post your LyX file as attachment here for us to test it.
