General ⇒ Updating Pstricks add on a mac

I am having all sorts of trouble updating my PStricks for my mac. I went to the main page of Pstricks and saw that there are many updates. I do not know where to begin. Here are some questions I have:

1. Under the index, where do I put the pstricks-add.sty and pstricks-add.tex files?
2. Is there a specific file I put them into..

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Why do you need to update the files?
Installing MacTeX and everything should be fine.

However, with the command

kpsewhich pstricks.tex

you can see, where the file is saved. The files in
http://archiv.dante.de/~herbert/PSTricks-TDS.tgz
has all files in the correct subdirectory. A simply
copy should be enough.

I only ask because I am not able to create some figures, i.e. \PstTriangle and other figures.. I updated TeXShop to v. 2.34. I noticed that pstricks-add, was updated on June 10th and wanted to make sure that I had the most recent version.
