Text Formatting ⇒ Roman numerals in LyX

Hi,

I am using LyX, and would like to create an enumerated list with roman numerals.. Does anyone know how?

Redefining labelenumi command before the beginning of the list should do the trick:

1. Ctrl+L

2. Type in the following code:

Code: Select all

\renewcommand{\labelenumi}{\Roman{enumi}.}

3. To change the numbering back to Arabic, do the steps 1. and 2. again, but replace \Roman with \arabic.

Note: for lowercase roman numbers, use \roman instead of \Roman.
