i'm unable to compile the .tex file to produce dvi file using texmaker in win32 ,it says
log file not found,help req.......

I have exactly the same problem!! I can't run the compilation. Apparently, I'm not alone. I think it's a problem of configuration... But I have configured it like the help file says to. So... SOS!
