Package browser?

Post by elmariachi »

hi! I use Linux (arch linux to be exact) and TexLive and I would like to know if there is such a thing as a package browser to see which latex packages I have installed.

Thanks

Hi,

you could use tlmgr, this is the package manager introduced with TeX Live 2008. Of course tlmgr is available in TL 2009 and 2010.

If you use TeX Live as provided by your distribution, it may be possible that the package manager »tlmgr« is missing in order not to evade the distribution's package management.
