How to cite a technical specification?

Post by mdohnke »

Hi there,

at the moment I am writing my master thesis. I am now at the point where I want to cite some (technical) specifications like

http://www.wfmc.org/Download-document/W ... glish.html
or
http://www.omg.org/cgi-bin/doc?dtc/09-08-14

At the moment I am using a booklet for that. The problem is that some specifications don't have authors other do... The booklet has an author tag but no publisher tag.

How can I cite such specs in a correct way? What about missing authors?

Greetings

You could try @manual, @misc or @techreport. See the BibTeX manual.
