LyXlyx display mode for math problems

lyx display mode for math problems

hi,

just wondering if there is a way to make it so that when you type math in display mode it doesnt always centre ie can you align it to the left, i have tried in paragraph settings and using flushleft but nothing works, it stays centred :S

Also ive tried having display mode math in tables and for some reason that also doesnt work, it some up with errors saying i have missed $ and { signs...

Please help

Take a look at Math manual for LyX, section 17.

Basically, put fleqn in "Custom" field in "Document > Settings > Document Class".
