General ⇒ problem of displaying text in texniccenter

Hi,

Texniccenter has worked very well for me for many years. But today, when I type in English in the editor, the text is suddenly all messed up, as shown in the attached figure. It is not caused by the corrupted file as I tried a couple of other files. At this point, I am not sure it is a configuration problem or a bug in the software.

I tried to reboot the machine, reinstall the package, and change the configuration. But none of them works. Does anybody by chance know how to fix this problem? (my environment is Windows XP + Miktex + Texniccenter)

i have tried to completely remove and then install the TexnicCenter one more time. The problem went away. However, I still do not know what is the reason.
