Bold text and listings package

Post by Wolowitz »

Hello. Imagine a paragraph like the following:
The May 2010 Tennessee floods were floods in Middle Tennessee, West Tennessee, South Central and Western Kentucky and northern Mississippi as the result of torrential rains on May 1 and 2, 2010. Floods from these rains affected the area for several days afterwards, resulting in a number of deaths and widespread property damage.
I'd like to get some of the words above in a bold style using the listings package for the whole paragraph but without using a keyword list. Is that possible? How could I do that? Thanks in advance and sorry for the mistakes I make in English.

I don't see what the listings package has to do with bold faced text in a usual paragraph.

Thanks for answering. It is actually something complicated to be explained but, trust me, it has to be this way, that is, using the listings package.
