Math & Science ⇒ "\angle" symbol is not working

I need to include some \angle symbols in my work, but for some reason it's not working. All other symbols are working properly. Do you know why? I'd really appreciate your help.

I can't comprehend the problem. The code below works.

So you will have to provide a counterexample.

Thank you for your fast reply. I just found out that it is a problem with the dvi compiler (yap.exe). As soon as I compile the document into ps or pdf, it works.
