Maybe that is not the answer for your question, but why not try the prosper package?
http://amath.colorado.edu/documentation/LaTeX/prosper/
There is also another package for presentations called Beamer:
http://latex-beamer.sourceforge.net/
I hope it can help you.
Paulo.

The prosper class (and the bug fixing package HA-prosper) is obsolete and should not be used. It has been replaced by the powerdot class. Use this to get fast results. Note that you have to compile your documents with LaTeX -> PS -> PDF. For precious looking presentations use the beamer class.Paulo wrote:[...] Maybe that is not the answer for your question, but why not try the prosper package?
