Yap render method: Dvips vs. Pk fonts

Post by Sebi »

In my yap 2.5.2574, the dvips render method looks worse than pk fonts (which was also used in Miktex 2.4).
The text displayed by dvips is not bold enough, and cannot be darken to the same amount as possible when pk fonts render method is selected.
Do you have the same observation? If not, which metafont mode (View->Options->Display->Metafont mode) are you using? I currently use ljfive (600dpi).

Regards,
Sebastian
