Document class corrupted?

Post by ole_ole_ole »

Hello,

I have been using MikTeX in conjunction with WinEdt for about 2 weeks. Today in the middle of working on one of my files, all of sudden, it refused to compile the document that it was compiling before without any problems. I am getting

LaTeX Error: The font size command \normalsize is not defined: there is probably something wrong with the class file.

I know, it is not the tex file. The very same file compiles no problemo on my laptop with same MikTex + WinEdt set-up. Moreover, it afflicts all tex files that I am trying to compile.

I tried uninstalling MikTex (with option tidy-up carefully, or something) and installing it again. But I get the same thing.

Please help, is there is some kind of cash files that need to be deleted?!

The UK TeX FAQ List one answer [1]. But according to your descriptions this seems not to be the right one for you.
