TexnicCenter problem

Post by fifinho »

Dear Users

I have had a very annoying problem with the latex-editer TexnicCenter. I like this editor because it compiles very fast. But i have following 2 problems.

1)

In TexnicCenter, sometimes when a error occurs in the document it dosent give me the location of the error. When I click the button "next error" nothing happens.

2)

Another problem is Texmaker. It gives me the location of the errors in my document, but im always getting a strange error with the message "No bounding box", and obviously it has something to do with my picture i think.

I hope that somebody is familiar with the problems, any help will be greatly appreciated.

regards

Fifinho

This often happens when an error is a follow up or is located in an included source file. TeXnicCenter (TXC) seems to have problems in parsing the log file. This might be on the agenda for TXC2 or already be fixed in the current alpha version.

The problem is not related to the editor. The message comes from the compiler. You should provide some useful information [1]. Descriptions in this form are not helpful.
