highlighting and indentation

Post by freethebee »

Hi,
After switching from windows to linux recently I have been playing with possible replacements for winedt. Kile seems to be closest to what I am looking for, since it supports projects and handles citations and references nicely. To make working with Kile somewhat better even I have two questions.

Is there a way to let the editor indent wrapped lines consistently, so that the second line will have the same indentation as the first?

Second,I find the default highlighting rather limited, so I wondered if anyone happens to know if there are some adapted highlighting files around. I couldn't find any and my first attempts on creating my own resulted only in parsing errors. Before looking into that more carefully, I figured to try the quick and easy route of asking first.
