Document Classes ⇒ Creating a list of references with comments after each one?

Hi,

I would like to create a list of references with some comments after each one. Up to now I used to export a text from the reference manager I am using (CiteULike) and just type in the comments or group the references.

As I recently started using latex it seems to me that there should be some relatively easy way of taking advantage of bibtex flexibility to create such a list, and perhaps be able to create even more complex output (e.g hyperlinks from each paper their publisher etc).

Is there some class for such type of documents or any suggestions on how to proceed?
