I have the 1.0 RC1 version. When I search the help file LatexAdv.chm for "hbox" I get 1 hit in the "macros" section, but when I ask for display, I get the "This program can not display this webpage". I have IE 8. and HTML Help Control Version 4.749273

I'm lost. You have version 1.0 RC1 of what, exactly? Not LaTeX! Perhaps some LaTeX editor... maybe? What program is this, what does it have to do with LaTeX, and what are you doing with it?
