Spacing of Mhchem package

Post by BoudewijnD »

Hi,

Is there away of changing the spacing between the numbers (in subscript) and the letters (most case capital). I find the the O is a bit to far away when using the mhchem pack and the following code

Code: Select all

\ce{Ac2O}
I changed my fonts but that didn't gave me any better results.
Here a pic to show you what I mean:

Also checked the documentaion about mhchem but it was not stated there as far as I could find.

Spacing of Mhchem package

Post by localghost »

Pleas upload attachments to the forum server. External links can get lost with time and make a problem incomprehensible.

The small space seems to me quite usual to indicate that the index sticks to the preceding symbol. You could contact the maintainer of the package and ask him for information.

Best regards
