Inscribed circle

Post by mobearette »

I want to draw the inscribed circle in a triangle. The center of the circle is the intersection of angle bisectors.
Can anyone tell me how to draw angle bisectors with tikz? Or is there any other way to get the center of incircle?

Thx in advance

Thank you for the link, but it hasn't really helped me.
I am familiar with the tkz-2d package, but the trick is to draw inscribed circle without it.
I have found out how to draw the bisectors: it should look sth like this:
A -- ( (B.x+C.x)/2 ,(By+C.y)/2 ).
Now, can anyone tell me how to extract the x and y parts of existing coordinates?
I only managed to find \pgfextractx and \pgfextracty which is useless (or I don't know how to use it properly).
