vertical alignment of multiple tables

Post by donryanocero »

I have three tables on the same line, and I'd like them to align vertically so that they are all present at the top, something like this:

_ _ _
_
_

rather than:

_
_ _ _
_

if that makes any sense. I've even tried putting the tables within tables that are vertically aligned to top, and it still doesn't work. Sometimes I got 2 of the 3 to align properly, and the third (on far right) does whatever it feels like.

Within LyX (before preview) it looks as desired, but when I view the actual document, it does this. Any ideas?
