Hi there,

Could anyone tell me if it's possible to create vertical text in LaTeX like:

[php1ic]

Use the sideways environment provided by the rotating package

A=\{\begin{sideways}\{1,2,3,4,\dots\}\end{sideways}\}
\end{equation}

\end{document}

The dvi will not show the text rotated, you must convert to ps/pdf
