Graphics, Figures & Tables ⇒ Making pstricks work

Dear all,

I have been using Latex for years now, but otherwise have a very limited technical knowledge. At home I use pstricks freely, but having tried using it in my office not even the .aux is created. i have checked that the package is installed on my machine.

Could you please guide me through this? I will be glad to provide any information.
