Creating Tables

Post by spacefreak »

Hi, I'm extremely new to using LaTeX, and I think I at least have the basics down for writing a basic 5-page report or so with a title page. However, I'm trying to figure out how to go about creating a table in LaTeX. I've tried a few variations from various sources, and none of them seem to work (or want to compile for that matter). I'm trying to create something like this:

Does anyone have any insight or templates that I might be able to learn from? Thanks.

In the Not so short introduction to LaTeX2e (pp 41 ff) you can read some hints on how to construct tables.
You may be interested also in the multirow and dcolumn packages. Take a look at the Comprehensive TeX Archive Network (CTAN) catalogue.
