Hi all,
As I am rather new to the whole experience, please bear with me. I am using Mixtex and Winedt currently. I would like to use Asymptote. Is there an editor better than others when one wants to do so?
Is asymptote also a package ( I see that it included at CTAN)or that it can only be downloaded from its host Forgenet?
I thank you for your help

Re: Asymptote and TeXnicCenter?
Asymptote is definitely distributed as a package through CTAN, and you should be able to install it using the MikTeX package manager, if it doesn't come pre-installed.
I don't know enough about Asymptote or WinEdt to know whether or not TXC would be better. Maybe someone else can answer that. (Somehow I doubt it matters much for Asymptote in particular, however.)

Asymptote and TexnicCenter?
The access to Asymptote from LaTeX is described in a dedicated section of the manual. The additional processing can be integrated into a build profile in TeXnicCenter (TXC).
