Kile ⇒ How to import a Latex template into kile?

Hi everyone,

so i want to write a paper using "kile/latex", i got a template from my friend, now i want to import it into kile, but don't know how, i tried importing it as a project(project-->open project), but it only has the option of opening one file!, i want to import the whole folder(it contains other subfolders), how to do that.
its a layout template, since i am new and don't know much about latex, so just wanted to have a ready layout and just start using it.
