LyX ⇒ merging cels of column

merging cels of column

The lyX make no problem to merge adjacent cells in a table if they are in the same row. but how do I merge cells which are of the same column (vertical merge)?

in the latex there is option to \usepackage{multirow} for multiple row cell in a table. how can it be used in LyX?
