When I have figures, my dvi doesnt show them and say that it cannot be rendered because it has specials postcripts. It also asks if I want to change to dvips.
Can anyone help me
Thanks

Re: cannot be rendered
You should have told us what viewer you are using. But the described behaviour indicates that it's Yap from MiKTeX. You can change the rendering method somewhere in the options. This is all I can say at the moment because I'm not running Windows.

Re: cannot be rendered
You are correct. I use windows vista, miktex, ghostview, ghostscript and texniccenter.
I will check my options.

Re: cannot be rendered
Well by chance I discovered that the yap was not correctly configured.
Also the path was associated with miktex 2.5 and not the one I had just installed 2.8.
Hope this help people with the same problem as mine.

Renato
