Hi guys.

Is there a way to add a small figure into a large one?
The subfigure package allows me to put to figure with one caption or two figures side by sides but that not what I want.

I see several possible solutions.

Try the overpic package (forum search).
Gnuplot allows to plot so called insets by setting the multiplot option.
either datatool, pgfplots (based on pgf/tikZ) or pstricks to plot the data sets in LaTeX.

In case you have the diagrams already present as graphics files the first point would the preferable.
