What can say? Well, I started programming at school, about 35 years ago. Went on to do a degree in Comp Sci, where we started off using punched cards, and only used terminals towards the end of the course - and this was at one of the UK's pre-eminent universities

Despite learning all about mainframes and tape-based sorts, my first project after leaving uni was a M6800-based embedded computer system. I then did various projects including real-time process control, imaging and signal processing before discovering that jobs in finance paid a lot more cash

I recently started an Open University course in mathematics

OK that'll do for now
