A program to make schemes?

Post by airjuan »

Hi everybody,
I am looking for a program to make a quickly scheme just like this:
metalotecnia.png
metalotecnia.png (150.73 KiB) Viewed 4373 times
My idea is to make it by a WYSIWYG program and, them, obtain the .ps code for my .tex document.

Any idea? better ASAP...

Any reason to hurry?

Internal solutions would be pgf/tikZ or pstricks (particularly pst-tree) [1,2]. Some external software like Inkscape or XFig could be worth a try.

[1] TikZ and PGF examples
[2] /PSTricks/examples

Best regards and welcome to the board

Hi,

if you prefer some graphical interfaces you can try: both work over Java or
  • LaTeXpix: generates eepic and pgf code
Tpx: generates LaTeX picture, PsTricks, PGF, TikZ or MetaPost code
which need windows.
Hope it helps.
