Memoir trim marks

Post by Julian_S_Moore »

showtrims is passed as an option and standard corner marks appear...

However, I need centre marks and the manual is extremely unclear.

Invoking e.g. \tmarkbm after \documentclass, after \checkandfixthelayout, after \begin{document} do not work [MiKTeX 2.7 & Memoir class packaged on 2009-09-24]

Could someone give me a working example of centre trims?

in the next release the center marks are visible by default, in the current release they are left for the reader.

If you mean left the reader to implement that would agree with what I was told in comp.text.tex!

May I ask how you know what's coming in the next release? Is there some status page that can be checked? If it is coming soon I'd be very pleased!

guess who answered.

It will mostly be bug fixes and a few tweaks.

Given the size o memoir we are not adding much new feature anymore, we cover most of what is needed.
