Front Matter Scientific Workplace

Hello,
I'm new and I hope that I'm not asking to silly questions, but I have problems using the Front Matter at Scietific Workplace.
I click on "Typeset" and then on "Front Matter" to use the Front Matter. A Window appears on which I can type things on it. With the right Button of my mouse a menu appears on which I can choose Tags. For example I can select The "author" Tag. I uploaded a picture which shows the Tags i used at the Front Matter.

Ok and now the problem: I'm clicking on "Typeset" --> "Preview". Then A new Window opens which is called the "TrueTeX DVI Preview". It shows me the paper I wrote. But the Front Matter doesn't appears. There is none "author", none "adress" and none "date". The only thing which appears is the Abstract and the text which I typed in the paper. I have the same problem when I use the pdf preview.
I can't understand why it don't works. Has someone an idea? Thanks!

Hi,

I've never used SW, but in standard LaTeX you must add the \maketitle command somewhere in the body of your command (usually right after \begin{document}).

I don't know how I can implement commands in Scientific Workplace. Until now it worked without any commands. In some documents the Front Matter works properly and in others nothing appears. It's really strange.

Hello,

Open the Front Matter Dialog and access the Insert Item Tag pop up list (Alt +1 or click the down arrow in the box in the lower left-hand corner). In that list you will see several Make commands such as
Make LOT (list of tables)
Click on the Make Title command.
